Santa Cruz Water Service Restored After Emergency Repairs
Santa Cruz Water Service Restored After Overnight Repairs Santa Cruz, Bolivia – Residents of Santa Cruz breathed a sigh of relief this morning as potable water service was fully restored to several areas of the city following overnight emergency repairs. The water utility company, SAGUAPAC, worked through the night to address a major pipeline issue that had disrupted service. "We have successfully completed all the work," stated Fernando Suarez, Head of Media for SAGUAPAC, in an interview with Unitel Bolivia. "There were complications due to the replacement of a large-diameter pipe, but the service has now been restored." While the service is back on, Suarez cautioned that some areas may experience low water pressure until 6:30 AM. He also advised residents to run their taps for a few seconds if the water appears discolored due to possible sediment. The video shows repair crews working at the site on Avenida Libertad in the city's northern zone. The quick response and successful repair efforts by SAGUAPAC demonstrate the utility's commitment to providing essential services to the community.
