
Toddler in Coma After Brutal Airport Attack by Drug-Affected Man in Moscow
MOSCOW – An 18-month-old Iranian child is in a coma with severe injuries following a brutal assault by a 31-year-old Belarusian man at a Moscow airport. The incident, captured on video, shows the suspect, identified as Vladimir Vitkov, throwing the toddler to the ground in front of numerous onlookers. Medical examinations revealed traces of cannabis in Vitkov's system. He was immediately apprehended at the scene and now faces charges for attempted murder. The young victim sustained skull fractures and spinal injuries and is currently in a medically induced coma. Authorities are closely monitoring the child's condition, awaiting recovery to proceed with a severe sentencing for the assailant. It is believed that the child and mother had arrived in Russia after fleeing Iran, while the suspect had traveled from either Cyprus or Egypt.
