Massive Drug Bust in Perlis: RM13 Million Worth of Syabu Seized

Perlis Drug Bust: 365kg of Syabu Seized, Suspect Arrested PADANG BESAR, PERLIS – Malaysian authorities made a significant drug bust in Perlis, seizing 365 kilograms of syabu, a highly addictive form of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value exceeding RM13 million. A 40-year-old local man was arrested in connection with the seizure and is believed to have been transporting the drugs. "The suspect was apprehended following an investigation into a vehicle in Padang Besar," stated Datuk Muhammad Abdul Halim, Perlis Police Chief, during a press conference. He added that the suspect tested positive for methamphetamine use and has a history of drug-related offenses. The suspect is being remanded for seven days to assist with the investigation.
