Popular Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos has launched an innovative online competition titled "The Breakfast World Cup," inviting his vast global audience to decide which country boasts the best breakfast. The tournament, structured similarly to a traditional football World Cup, features knockout rounds where national breakfasts face off against each other. Llanos introduced the concept by showcasing various breakfast dishes from different countries, explaining that the ultimate winner will be determined by audience votes. He stated, "I have created 'The Breakfast World Cup.' It will be a World Cup like any other: round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, final, and a winner." The competition's initial matchups, revealed by Llanos, include Peru against Mexico, the United Kingdom against Argentina, Colombia versus Costa Rica, and the United States against Bolivia, among others. Viewers are instructed to vote for their preferred country's breakfast by liking specific comments left by Ibai for each participating nation. "I will leave two comments, and you will vote for the country you believe deserves to advance," Llanos explained. The streamer encouraged his followers to stay tuned for the start of the tournament this coming Monday, emphasizing that "you decide the world champion."
