Penang Snatch Thief Remanded: A 29-year-old man is in custody following the reported theft of a gold necklace from an elderly woman in Jelutong, Penang. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon around 3:30 PM on Jalan Tembaga, Taman Green View. According to Assistant Commissioner Abdul Razak Mohamad, the suspect was apprehended early this morning near Jalan Lim Choon Huat. Police also confirmed the suspect tested positive for drugs. The victim reported the incident later that evening. The investigation continues under Section 392 of the Penal Code. "The suspect was apprehended after the victim reported the incident," stated Assistant Commissioner Mohamad. "He tested positive for drugs and is currently being questioned."
