
RM11.3 Million Worth of Drugs Destroyed in Kelantan
Kelantan Police Dispose of RM11.3 Million in Seized Drugs Kota Bharu, Kelantan – In a significant operation, the Kelantan police force recently disposed of a substantial amount of confiscated drugs and poisons, valued at RM11.3 million. The disposal, conducted according to Inspector-General of Police Standing Order D207, included drugs seized between 1997 and 2004. The operation involved various types of narcotics, with syabu being the most significant, weighing 317.06 kilograms and valued at RM9.668 million. Other items included 11,726 liters of cough medicine worth RM1.032 million, and 3,935 kilograms of yaba pills, valued at RM527,900. The drugs were transported to the Bukit Pelanduk disposal site for destruction. "The total value of the disposed drugs is RM11.306 million," stated a police spokesperson in the video. The operation highlights the ongoing efforts of Malaysian law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and ensure public safety.
