Massive Drug Bust in Johor: Over RM4.7 Million Worth of Drugs Seized

Authorities in Johor, Malaysia, announced a major drug bust on June 11, 2025. Over 123 kilograms of drugs, estimated to be worth more than RM4.7 million, were discovered in an abandoned vehicle in Taman Putra, Kulai. The drugs included methamphetamine and ketamine. According to Perak Police Chief Datuk Noor Hisham, "We meticulously examined the abandoned vehicle and successfully seized 80 packages of drugs." The drugs were believed to be destined for distribution in Perak and surrounding areas. The case is under investigation under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. This significant seizure underscores ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in Malaysia.
