AD Laurent Addresses Masculinism Allegations: "Women Are Equal to Men"

Paris, France – In a recent interview with producer and interviewer Sam Zirah, reality TV personality AD Laurent directly confronted allegations of being a "masculinist." During the discussion, Zirah presented a definition of masculinism, describing it as a reactionary and self-centered movement that essentializes gender differences, reaffirms conventional masculinity, defends male privileges, and fights against feminists. AD Laurent unequivocally denied adhering to such views. "People are mistaken about influencers, once again," he stated. "Cite me a passage, a live where I can be sexist and masculinist. I think that's the hierarchization of sexes. Man thinks he is superior to woman or vice versa. In no case do I have sexist or masculinist remarks." He further elaborated on his perspective, emphasizing his belief in gender equality. "Simply, Sam, for me, women are equal to men, and I advocate for it all day long," Laurent asserted. He also touched upon his personal life and views on relationships, adding, "I am single, I appear with several women. Women have the right to have one-night stands. In no case do I call girls 'easy girls' because they have sexual relations with several men; one must respect everyone's choice, simply." Laurent concluded by highlighting his open-mindedness, stating, "I am the most open-minded guy; I have trans friends, I have homosexual friends... I am very open-minded, and I think it bothers people in France that a heterosexual man displays so much his ease of hanging out with girls, or displays and assumes his sexuality so much. And that's the real problem, and no one will admit it. But the real problem, the core of the problem, is that, and it bothers people." His remarks aim to clarify his position amidst public scrutiny.
