Ghana's MTN to Restore 214GB Data Bundle for GH₵399

Ghana's Communications Minister Announces MTN Data Bundle Reinstatement Accra, Ghana – June 10, 2025 – In a press conference today, Ghana's Communications Minister, Sam George, announced the reinstatement of MTN's GH₵399 data bundle, offering a substantial 214GB of data. This decision, effective July 1st, 2025, follows negotiations between the government and the telecommunications provider. Minister George stated, "I am pleased to announce that my engagement with the CEOs has resulted in the restoration of this important data bundle." The announcement is expected to positively impact many Ghanaian mobile users. The reinstatement isn't limited to MTN. Minister George also revealed that other networks, including AirtelTigo and Glo, will increase their data bundle offerings by 10-15%.
